Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You’re a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you’re covered with the fingerprints of God
So look around you and see where YOU can see God’s fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals?
To participate in Fingerprint Friday, simply click the title of my blog and you will be whisked away to PamperingBeki’s blog and all of the details on how to participate.

Today I was thinking of the beach.
I would love to be there right now but that’s just not going to happen.
So, I did the next best thing and started browsing through my photos from last year’s trip to Jekyll Island

We were there during a tropical depression.
It was a bit depressing to us at first but then we realized how absolutely beautiful a tropical depression can be…especially if it’s not a really bad one that produces hurricanes and all that. There were so many gorgeous photo ops, it was difficult to pick a Fingerprint photo from all that I had.

I chose this one because

1) it has the ocean in it and the ocean is so big and the sky is so huge and it always puts me into the right perspective…God is God and I am not, that sort of thing. The ocean makes me think of Psalm 8:3-4 (you’ll have to look it up, the link wouldn’t work.)

2) the clouds are a bit stormy looking which represents how life often can be and

3) there’s blue sky peaking through, reminding me that if you trust in Him, you know that the dark times will pass and the light will come shining through.
Plus, He will be there with you through the dark times, which makes them seem not so dark after all!

Don’t forget to visit PamperingBeki’s.

From there you can visit all the other Fingerprint Friday posts…which is where I’m headed right now!

Hope you have a blessed Friday.
