Fingerprint Friday – Lamb of God

Fingerprint Friday was started by Beki, at The Rusted Chain. It was inspired by the song by Steven Curtis Chapman that contains the line…”when I look at you, I can see the fingerprints of God.” To participate and/or visit all of the blogs that do, go to the Fingerprint Friday Post on Beki’s blog and follow the instructions.

I have started taking my camera with me everywhere. You just never know when you are going to find something interesting to shoot.  This day, a couple of weeks ago, my husband and I were traveling down the highway when we encountered this beautiful sunset.  With no place to pull over, I just shot through the windshield…being careful not to look at the sun through the viewfinder….and this is what I found when I got home and downloaded my photos….
Do you see what I see?
These things took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.
The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! “This is He on behalf of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.’  John 1:28-30 NAS

I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. Revelation 21:22-24 NAS
