Fingerprint Friday – Spring!

 See! The winter is past;
   the rains are over and gone.
 Flowers appear on the earth;
   the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
   is heard in our land.
The fig tree forms its early fruit;
   the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling;
   my beautiful one, come with me.”
          Song of Solomon 2:11-13

Today I see the fingerprint of God in my thoughtful and caring husband and these lovely tulips that he surprised me with this week.  Tulips and daisies are my favorites. They added a lovely touch of spring to the home!  I love spring! Birds singing, daffodils, tulips, fruit tree blossoms popping out everywhere… A time of renewal, reawakening, beginning again and a good time to reflect on the sacrifice made for us so that we may have eternal life.

Hope you have a lovely spring!

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of God

When I look at you

I can see the fingerprints of God

And I know its true

You’re a masterpiece

That all creation quietly applauds

And you’re covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God’s fingerprints.

Fingerprint Friday was started by Beki at The Rusted Chain. To participate and/or visit all of the blogs that do, go to the Fingerprint Friday Post on Beki’s blog and follow the instructions.

P.S. I’ve been away for awhile. We had a death in my family and I will explain later when I can talk about it and when I have more time. Just wanted to say that I appreciate all the prayers and special thoughts from those of you who knew about it. Friends are such a treasure!

  1. Oh, what lovely flowers and beautiful thoughts especially when it is a cold and snowy day here! The promise is that spring will come, even in Iowa. I am so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

  2. Oh, how beautiful! Look what your sweetheart brought you! I know you love tulips-they are my faves too :o) The red and yellow ones are so lovely, and the sweet daisies add the perfect accent.

    Keeping you close to my heart daily, and praying you to the loving care of our precious Lord Jesus.
