Fingerprint Friday

Fingerprint Friday was started by Beki, at The Rusted Chain. It was inspired by the song by Steven Curtis Chapman that contains the line…”when I look at you, I can see the fingerprints of God.” To participate and/or visit all of the blogs that do, go to the Fingerprint Friday Post on Beki’s blog and follow the instructions.
I love the sky when there are gray clouds  and the sun is peeking out and the rays are streaming down through the clouds. It gives me goose bumps. Those rays are so majestic, so regal. I think of God when I see those rays. I know that his brilliance is infinitely greater than the sun.  Awesome, almighty, sovereign God.

“At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.”  Mark 13:26-27 NIV

Something about the sky, I can't seem to get enough pictures of it..One day they will find me in a hole..I am always looking up and not paying attention where I am walking..
    Happy Fingerprint Friday.

  2. We love them too. My 6 year old calls the rays “God light”. Often when we're driving she will yell from the back seat “God light Mama, look at the God light!”. I love the verse too… often when I look at the clouds I daydream about what Jesus will look like stepping out of them… I think he will possibly be accompanied by that light:)

  4. We've been having amazing sky moments around here, too, especially in the evenings. I used to think those rays of sunshine were God when I was a kid.
