Fingerprint Friday was started by Beki, at The Rusted Chain. It was inspired by the song by Steven Curtis Chapman that contains the line…”when I look at you, I can see the fingerprints of God.” To participate or to find all of the blogs that participate, go to the Fingerprint Friday post on Beki’s blog and follow the instructions.
This photo demonstrates the friendship between my granddaughter and my dog, Ellie. They have mutual respect and admiration and are slightly in awe of one another. Grandchildren and dogs are two of God’s greatest creations. Faith and Ellie seem to understand that.I think her eyes tell the story.
How precious! Kids and dogs do have a special rapport.

You are so right!! I believe animals communicate the goodness of God when we need it most! My dogs have always seemed to sense when I need a “smile and a hug” from them!!! Beautiful picture!!

What a sweet and precious pair in that photo! I love your comment about grandchildren and dogs. I don't have grandkids yet, but I do have a grandpuppy who spends a lot of time with us while her dad, my son, travels for work. She is very precious to me, and fortunately my two dogs and cat accept her, very graciously, as part of the pack. Have a great weekend!

What a precious picture of friendship. I could not agree more that they are gifts from God. Both grandchildren and our pets bring us such joy.

We have several dogs, and I'm amazed at how they calm down whenever our granddaughters, aged 3 and 6, are around them. wonderful picture!
