Fingerprint Friday was started by Beki, at The Rusted Chain. It was inspired by the song by Steven Curtis Chapman that contains the line…”when I look at you, I can see the fingerprints of God.” To participate and/or visit all of the blogs that participate, go to the Fingerprint Friday post on Beki’s blog and follow the instructions.
This is my Ellie Girl…
She’s a joy to us.
She is always so happy to see us.
She is always so happy to see us.
When we’ve been gone 10 minutes, we are greeted as long lost friends.
She comforts me when I am blue and is very concerned for me if my eyelids start leaking.
She forgives us when we are late with breakfast and dinner.
She forgives us when we are late with breakfast and dinner.
She is interested in whatever we do, especially eating.
She is always grateful for whatever crumbs might (accidentally) fall her way.
Dogs are faithful friends and can teach us a lot about friendship and love and even about God,if we let them.
Writing this reminded me of a really great song and video called GoD and DoG written by Wendy Francisco. Wendy says it all much better than I did.
Here’s the link to her song: http://www.godanddog.org/
And to her thoughts on the words to her song: http://www.godanddog.org/GoD%20and%20DoG%20Thoughts.html
Each is worth the few moments it will take to see and read, especially if you are a dog lover.
Look around and find your fingerprint and have a happy Friday. ♥
She is beautiful! Puppies are one of God's greatest gifts to us….truly Fingerprints!!

Nice post and sweet little pup!!
I'll never forget the sign that hung in our vet's office :”Lord, make the person my dog thinks I am.”
That made me think–I want to be that good person she thinks I am!!I don't want those grumpy days!!!
Love, Debra
