Fingerprint Friday – Let There Be Light

Fingerprint Friday was started by Beki, at The Rusted Chain. It was inspired by the song by Steven Curtis Chapman that contains the line…”when I look at you, I can see the fingerprints of God.” To participate and/or visit all of the blogs that do, go to the Fingerprint Friday Post on Beki’s blog and follow the instructions.

I love the way that the light is shining through the clouds in this photo. Not only the rays but the sun…it looks like a giant eye surrounded with gold looking through the clouds. What glorious beauty the Lord provides for us each day, if we only take a moment to see it. Can the sunset have the same power of awe and wonder for one who believes that it happened by accident, as it does for those who know that the mighty voice of God spoke it all into being? I wonder.

For God who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts, so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.”  – 2 Corinthians 4:6 NLT
