I have this great photo of my husband in his Greek fisherman’s cap that I gave him for Christmas.
Then I had this photo of me with the sunglasses. Well why not have my sunglasses reflecting that great photo of my love. So, using Photoshop, I popped him right in there. Well, I may have made that sound a little easier than it was but really, after I figured it out it was pretty easy.
First I added some color to his photo so that it would blend in with my sunglasses. Then I used the lasso tool to isolate the part I wanted to copy and the transform tool to grab it. Then I copied it to my photo and reduced the size to fit in my glasses. Repeated the process for the second lens and then touched up the color around the transferred photo to make it blend in with my glasses. I had to experiment a couple of times before I figured out the best way to do it. I’m really happy with the way it turned out and plan to have it printed on canvas and use it in a gallery wall.
Try it. It was fun.
Blessings,
Vicki
